In the past years, Pressindustria Chemical Equipment has manufactured a whole range of process equipment mainly dedicated to the mixing, dispersion and homogenization of fluids. The know-how of PCE in this field culminated with the development of Turboemulsifiers on an industrial scale, that have reached a great worldwide market penetration, especially in the fine chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The Turboemulsifier TE3
The Turboemulsifier TE.3 designed by Pressindustira in the 1960s is the most important of the standard equipment manufactured.
The intuition of a mixing system completely supported by coaxial shafts simultaneously driving the three mixing systems, in a semi spherical vessel, has permitted to obtain a compact and functional machine, which is easy to clean and sterilise. The highest levels of sterilisation and bacterial control have been reached thanks to the use of steam. The development of GMP rules has lead to continuous technological upgrades. Furthermore, high frequency turbines have been applied to the TE3, obtaining the micronization of the particles, especially required in the preparation of ophthalmic ointments and for the dispersion of liposomes. Another peculiarity of TE3 PHARMA is the computerized control system of the working cycles and the possibility of memorizing different recipes. This allows a repeatability of the production, with a continuous constant level.
In order to satisfy the production needs of every laboratory, Pressindustria has manufactured in the past years a wide range of TE3 PHARMA with a capability of 10, 70 or 140 litres for laboratory use, small productions and pilot units. The other machines designed during the past years can cover every production need and have a capability of 340, 640, 2400, 3700 and 5000 litres.
